The tongue is a tourist walkway, extending on the eastern coast of Ras El-Bar, and in the evening it is crowded with tourists to enjoy the most enjoyable times when the salty sea waters meet, with the fresh water of the Nile, all of which are adorned with the latest lighthouse in Egypt.
The tongue includes about 23 shops in the lower floor under the walkway to serve tourists, in addition to a stage that is graduated on the right side of the tongue, and performs artistic performances, in addition to the sound and light project that narrates extracts from the history of Damietta and Ras Al-Bar
