رئيس جامعة السويس يفتتح المؤتمر الطلابي الثالث لكلية الطب، ويعقد اجتماعًا موسعأ لأسرة كلية طب الأسنان
شهد صباح اليوم الاثنين ٢ يونيو ٢٠٢٥ أ.د أشــــــــــرف حنيجــــــــــل رئيس جامعة السويس فعاليات المؤتمر الطلابي الثالث لكلية الطب، بحضور أ.د. دعاء محمد سيد، عميدة الكلية، والسادة وكلاء الكلية وأعضاء هيئة التدريس والطلاب.
وفي كلمته وجه رئيس الجامعة التحية لكافة القائمين على تنظيم المؤتمر، من إدارة الكلية والطلاب، مشيدًا بجهود أساتذة الكلية في تشغيل العيادات الخارجية بالمستشفى الجامعي، والتي تمثل إضافة كبيرة لقطاع الرعاية الصحية في المحافظة.
كما عبّر عن تقديره للدعم الكبير الذي تقدمه الدولة المصرية، بقيادة فخامة الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي، لإنشاء مباني المستشفى الجامعي، مؤكدًا أن المشروع سيتم على ثلاث مراحل، وهذه هي المرحلة الأولى، وجاري الانتهاء من باقي المراحل لتكون مستشفى جامعة السويس أيقونة مميزة تقدم الراعية الصحية لأبناء إقليم الجامعة.
وأشار رئيس الجامعة إلى الدور الحيوي لأعضاء هيئة التدريس، باعتبارهم سفراء للعمل الإنساني، لما يقدمونه من خدمات طبية ورعاية صحية، كما شدد على أهمية المؤتمرات الطلابية في صقل شخصية الطلاب وتنمية قدراتهم العلمية والبحثية.
وفي ختام كلمته، أعرب أ.د. أشرف حنيجل عن سعادته بوجود طلاب تمكنوا من نشر أبحاث علمية في مجلات محكمة وذات معامل تأثير مرتفع، وهو ما يعكس مستوى التميز الأكاديمي والبحثي لطلاب كلية الطب بجامعة السويس.
ومن جانبها فقد أوضحت أ.د. دعاء محمد سيد عميد الكلية أن المؤتمر يهدف الى تنمية مهارات البحث العلمى والفكر الابداعى وتبادل العلوم والمعارف والكشف عن القدرات البحثيه للطلاب، كما اعربت عن خالص الشكر لإدارة الجامعة التى تقدم كل الدعم البحث العلمي وعلى رأسهم أ.د. اشرف حنيجل رئيس الجامعة.
وأشارت عميد الكلية لأن المؤتمر هذا العام يتزامن مع افتتاح العيادات الخارجيه والذى كان حلما وأصبح حقيقة مؤكدةً أنها وأسرة الكلية حريصون على الارتقاء بالمخرجات البحثية سواء الاكاديمى منها او الإكلينيكى والتى نامل بزيادتها مع تشغيل المستشفى الجامعى، واهم هذه المخرجات هى زياده اعداد الأبحاث الدولية التى ينشرها الطلاب فى كبرى المجلات العلميه والمؤتمرات الدوليه والتى وصلت إلى ١٥ ورقه بحثية.
وعقب ذلك قام رئيس جامعة بزيارة تفقدية لكلية طب الأسنان عقب افتتاح المؤتمر، حيث عقد اجتماعًا موسعًا مع أعضاء هيئة التدريس بالكلية، بحضور الدكتور عبدالله حمودة، القائم بأعمال عميد الكلية.
وخلال الاجتماع، وجه رئيس الجامعة الشكر للدكتور هاني شلبي، عميد الكلية السابق، على جهوده المتميزة طوال فترة توليه المنصب، كما أكد على أهمية الاستعداد الكامل للامتحانات وأعمال الكنترولات، داعيًا جميع أعضاء أسرة الكلية إلى العمل بروح الفريق والتكاتف لضمان تقدم الكلية والارتقاء بمستوى التعليم الأكاديمي.
وفي إطار تعزيز الخدمات الطبية والتعليمية أكد رئيس الجامعة على أهمية استعداد كلية طب الأسنان للاشتراك في العيادات الخارجية بالمستشفى الجامعي، مشيرًا إلى أن هذا التعاون سيتيح فرصة تطبيقية متميزة تسهم في تقديم رعاية طبية أفضل للمرضى.
هذا وقد شدد رئيس الجامعة على دعمه المتواصل للكلية في مختلف خطواتها التطويرية، سواء في تحديث المناهج أو تعزيز التعاون مع المؤسسات التعليمية والبحثية المختلفة، مؤكدًا أن هذه الجهود تأتي ضمن استراتيجية الجامعة لتقديم تعليم عالي الجودة يتوافق مع أحدث المستجدات في المجال الطبي.
وفي ختام زيارته، أكد رئيس الجامعة أن كلية طب الأسنان تُعد نموذجًا يحتذى به في تحقيق التكامل بين التعليم الأكاديمي والتدريب العملي، معربًا عن تفاؤله بمستقبل الكلية ودورها المتنامي في خدمة المجتمع والقطاع الصحي.
President of Suez University Inaugurates the Third Student Conference of the Faculty of Medicine and Holds an Extensive Meeting with the Faculty of Dentistry
This morning, June 2, 2025 Prof. Dr. Ashraf Heniegal, President of Suez University, attended the opening of the Third Student Conference of the Faculty of Medicine, with the presence of Prof. Dr. Doaa Mohamed Sayed, Dean of the Faculty, along with vice-deans, faculty members, and students.
In his speech, the University President praised all those involved in organizing the conference—both the faculty administration and the students—commending the efforts of the faculty’s professors in operating the outpatient clinics at the university hospital, which he described as a significant contribution to the healthcare sector in the governorate.
He also expressed his appreciation for the substantial support provided by the Egyptian state, under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, for the construction of the university hospital buildings. He emphasized that the project will proceed in three phases, with the current phase being the first. Work is ongoing to complete the remaining stages, with the aim of making the Suez University Hospital a distinguished icon in providing healthcare to the region.
Prof. Heniegal highlighted the vital role of faculty members as ambassadors of humanitarian work, for the medical services and care they provide. He also stressed the importance of student conferences in shaping students’ personalities and enhancing their academic and research capabilities.
At the conclusion of his speech, Prof. Dr. Heniegal expressed his happiness that some students had succeeded in publishing scientific research in peer-reviewed journals with high impact factors—an achievement reflecting the high academic and research standards of the students at the Faculty of Medicine, Suez University.
For her part, Prof. Dr. Doaa Mohamed Sayed, Dean of the Faculty, explained that the conference aims to develop students' research skills, foster creative thinking, promote the exchange of scientific knowledge, and reveal students’ research potential. She extended her sincere gratitude to the university administration, particularly President Heniegal, for their unwavering support of scientific research.
She also noted that this year’s conference coincides with the official opening of the outpatient clinics—a long-awaited dream come true—affirming that the faculty is committed to enhancing research output, both academic and clinical. She expressed hope that the operation of the university hospital would lead to an increase in high-quality research, especially in terms of international publications, with students having already published 15 research papers in leading journals and international conferences.
Following the conference, the University President paid an inspection visit to the Faculty of Dentistry, where he held a broad meeting with the faculty members, in the presence of Dr. Abdullah Hammouda, Acting Dean of the Faculty.
During the meeting, Prof. Heniegal extended his thanks to Dr. Hani Shalaby, the former Dean, for his distinguished efforts during his tenure. He also stressed the importance of full preparedness for the final exams and the work of exam control committees, urging all members of the faculty to work with team spirit and unity to ensure the advancement of the college and the improvement of academic standards.
In terms of strengthening medical and educational services, the President emphasized the importance of the Faculty of Dentistry’s readiness to participate in the university hospital’s outpatient clinics. He noted that this cooperation would offer an exceptional practical training opportunity, helping to deliver improved healthcare to patients.
Prof. Heniegal reaffirmed his continued support for the faculty in all aspects of development—whether in updating curricula or enhancing cooperation with educational and research institutions—stating that these efforts fall within the university’s strategy to provide high-quality education aligned with the latest advancements in the medical field.
